The budget for your activity

Pricing and contracting

How much does it cost to organise an activity or an event with a trainer included?

The price combines participant places and the delivery of the session by a specialised consultant provided by PSITEL. For use per activity, the price is 12 € per participant plus 300 € for a session of up to 2 h 30 min. For example, for 20 participants: 240 € for places + 300 € for the consultant = 540 €. The consultant's participation is subject to availability; if you need more time, please request a specific proposal. In-person travel, where applicable, is not included. These prices do not include VAT or equivalent taxes. See what the PSITEL consultant engagement includes.

How much does it cost to organise an activity with teachers from our own institution?

For use per activity, the price is 12 € per participant, with no additional cost for a PSITEL consultant. For example, 20 participants amount to 240 €. Initial training, technical support and prior assistance for your institution's teachers are included. If you use a pack, its price per participant applies. These prices do not include VAT or equivalent taxes. See prices and terms.

Are there options for several groups or intakes?

Yes. In addition to per-activity use, there are advance packs of 100, 300 and 500 places, priced at 11 €, 10 € and 9 € per participant respectively. Places can be distributed across activities. Their validity and conditions must be confirmed in the proposal. See the available packs.

What happens if we need to change the date or cancel?

Booking, date-change and cancellation conditions must be agreed in writing before contracting. That way you can organise the activity knowing the applicable deadlines and conditions, especially if you need a facilitator.

How do I request a proposal for my course or event?

Please indicate your organisation, the objective, the number of participants, the approximate dates and whether the activity will be led by teachers from your institution. For a conference, add the available space and time. You can write to us or book a 20-minute meeting to review the fit.

Preparation and format

Organising the activity

Can it work as a complementary activity at a conference?

Yes. You can book a room and a time slot for a team business tournament alongside the presentations. A facilitator presents the challenge, runs the rounds and closes the activity by commenting on the ranking and the participants' decisions. See proposals for programmes and events.

How many people can take part?

Each simulation accepts between 2 and 10 teams, with between 1 and 5 people per team, up to a maximum of 50 participants. For larger events, we review the organisation of several sessions. The ranking applies to each game; a joint automatic ranking across games is not assumed.

How long does the experience last?

The full experience has 7 rounds and usually takes half a day or two blocks, depending on the time devoted to the discussion. There is also a compact format of up to 2 h 30 min. We agree the format according to the training objectives and the schedule. See how the 7 rounds work.

What space and equipment do we need?

The teacher or facilitator needs a computer or tablet, an internet connection and a shared screen or projector. Teams connect from a mobile phone, tablet or computer. At an event, it is advisable to provide a space where they can talk and work, as well as the necessary time in the schedule.

Can it be delivered online or in a blended format?

Yes. Teams connect from their own devices and the teacher shares the screen to lead the session. The video conference and the organisation of team work are prepared together with the training organisation.

Training and participants

Can I include Faralia City in my course, master's or MBA?

Yes. You can include it as a practical workshop, an activity within a subject or the master's programme, or as the close of a module. The teacher links the simulation's decisions and results to the content on strategy, marketing, operations and finance. It can be led by a teacher from your institution or by a specialised consultant provided by PSITEL.

Do participants need prior knowledge?

They do not need to know the simulator beforehand. Before the activity we review their level and the group's objectives in order to prepare the explanations and the discussion. A group new to entrepreneurship needs different support from an MBA group.

Which skills are developed?

Decision-making, market reading, strategy, marketing, operations and economic analysis. Teams also practise reaching consensus on decisions, justifying hypotheses and adapting their strategy to the results.

Why is a gym simulated if my programme is not about sport?

The gym provides a concrete business in which to decide on premises, investment, people, prices, marketing and services. The learning focuses on the relationships between those decisions and their business consequences, not on technical training in the sports sector.

Does the participant receive anything at the end?

Yes. Once the game is finished, each participant receives an individual certificate of participation in PDF. It is a document that certifies their participation in the activity; it is not an official qualification. You can view a Pending.

What documentation does our organisation receive?

The activity includes results and a final report, in addition to the individual certificates of participation in PDF. You can view illustrative samples before contracting. If you need to justify a programme or a call for applications, we review the requirements of the deliverable without guaranteeing its acceptance by third parties.

Do you have another question about your activity?

We review participants, objectives, schedule and format in a 20-minute meeting. You can also write to us by email.
